Halifax Sea Port:

The Port of Halifax is one of the largest natural harbours in the world with a long history of shipping.  The port is very important to the economic well-being the region and the Province of Nova Scotia.

• Has an ice-free harbour with the deepest container berths on the eastern seaboard of North America

• Has a port which is able to accommodate the world's largest container vessels, fully loaded.
